Summary 2018: Look at what we are up to…

We’ve been praying if GAAF will have its 15th year of toy giving this Christmas 2018 as our storage is still empty when it used to be full already at this time of the year. But God is good and so is Mama Mary. There are Angels without wings who came to the rescue. Thank u to Elena Reyes, Angelo Varsobia, Jun Santos Capistrano, Rose Maghari, and d FB fundraising donors: Arcie Herrera Mennie Hernandez, Alo Simon, Clarissa Uhl, JC Rances & sori forgot d others(?-no FB report provided) & Ludy Mendoza with check in d mail. Thank u to Jon Varsobia for offering his truck. The challenge is how to fill d storage. Please help us raise more toys so we could bring cheer to more children in the Philippines. We accept brand new or pre-loved toys. We also accept cash & we will buy d toys on your behalf. God bless all of u.

September 20, 2018. Busy schedule today but need to buy d toys as Wednesday has 20% senior discount. One advantage of being a senior citizen🙄. Thanks to all d previous donors and to Laila L. September 23, 2018. First toy pick up today. Not enough so I’ll still look around in other stores. If u happen to have toys just sitting in your garages, call me and I can pick them up. Some families even thanked me for clearing their garages😜. Storage is not even half full😔. Thank you to my cousin Benny Herrera for sending in his donation. Thank you for your continuous support to the children in the Philippines😇.

September 29, 2018 – GAAF Toy Packing. Thank You Lord for the provision. Once again, our mission is accomplished. You provided all of us with strength, food courtesy of our Angel Partner Marlo Cruz-Pinoy-Pinay Cerritos and most importantly our Angel Partner – Jp Carino & Ging Villaluz Carino of Forex Cargo. Thank u to all d donors who came today to drop off their toys & cash donations: Josephine Dauz, Bambi Cyryl Celiz & Riza Tamayo. Thank u to Angelo Varsobia for picking toys from Ellen Bagamaspad/Ruth Jardinaso early morning today. A BIG thank u to all d packers who sacrificed working under d sun for 3-4 hours. Dr Marisse Herrera, Lynne Serrano, Melanie Serrano Lacson, Melody Serrano Quirit, Savanna Lacson, Sabrina Lacson, Vance Troy Nguyen, Angelo Varsobia, Daniel Valdez, Daniel Goings, Lilly Goings, Jessica Tapales, Jason Tillery and d Y4M group headed by Kayla Padilla (Clarita Clements, Jillian Lim, Katherine Dang, Kevin Morales & Gio Franco).
